Throughout lockdown we supported a targeted group of residents who experienced social isolation and mental health issues.
We started Project Rainbow as this group could not access support by attending The Link due to restrictions. We made a weekly door step visit to every member of the group where we were able to take essentail supplies and speical treats. We also made telephone contact at the start and the end of the week with the service users spending time chatting.
Members of the group told us that Project Rainbow had been a lifeline for them during lockdown. Very often our visits and telephone calls were the only contact they had with other people.
