In April of this year, we asked all of our “Little Link’s” to cheer us all up by drawing a nice picture or creating a little poem to brighten up these dreary lockdown times. Parents sent these drawings, created by our young artists, to our Facebook page and they were fabulous and filled with lots of love!
They certainly put a smile on our faces 😀
In return for these drawings, we had a little surprise waiting for all the children that made us smile…
We sourced gifts and packed around 50 goodie bags full of activities, games, craft items and an Easter egg for the wonderfully talented children who were suffering with poor mental health dude to the lockdown, They sent us drawings to keep them busy for a while!
We then on a very sunny day, delivered all of the goodie bags to the children who had drawn us pictures.
We set aside some for our friends at Woodthrope Community, so they could distribute goodie bags to their young artists too!
