We’ve really enjoyed spending time outdoors together recently, celebrating the wonderful green spaces right here on our doorstep.
Community Nature Walk
A guided walk around Carbrook Ravine with Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust reminded us just how many beautiful wild places we have close to home. It was a great chance to slow down, notice nature and enjoy being together.
Outdoor Cooking with Woodland Wellbeing
Members of our Connect Men’s Group enjoyed a healthy outdoor breakfast cooked over the fire — plenty of chat, laughter and fresh air included!
Serene Willow Weaving
We also took part in a peaceful willow-weaving session with Woodland Wellbeing, creating beautiful handmade pieces while relaxing in the calm of our garden space.
Helping Wildlife at Home
Families had a fantastic time building bee pollinators, hedgehog houses and miniature gardens in the lovely summer sunshine — all thanks to Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust. These projects help encourage wildlife into our gardens and give our local pollinators and hedgehogs a safe place to thrive.
