We were delighted to welcome a brilliant team of volunteers from Yorkshire Water who generously donated a full community day to support The Link and our local residents. Their team rolled up their sleeves and got properly stuck in — joining local people on a community litter pick to help keep our area looking clean, welcoming and cared for.

As well as helping outdoors, the volunteers also supported our busy community shop, chatted with residents at our lunch group, and even joined in with some festive fun — lending a hand with Christmas crafts and helping us set up Santa’s Grotto ready for the big day.

Their energy, kindness and willingness to help wherever needed made such a positive difference, not just practically but in spirit too. It was a real example of what happens when organisations and communities work together — stronger connections, brighter spaces and a real sense of pride in our area.

A huge thank you to everyone from Yorkshire Water for their time, smiles and support — it meant the world to us and our community.
